The Benefits of a Pre-Wedding Shoot
Most couples say their wedding day just flies by in a blink of an eye & will likely be on a time-limiting schedule, even though I am documenting your day it will not be as relaxed & flexible for your formal photos. Investing in a pre-wedding photoshoot gives you greater flexibility as it can take place for a sunrise, a sunset or whatever time of day you like!

You may have a vision of how you want some images that may not be possible on your wedding day; if the weather plays up it is much easier to re-schedule! It is also the perfect way to get to know each other better! For any camera-shy couples out there, it’s the best way to overcome any awkwardness you may have in front of the camera in time for your wedding day! I am relaxed & fun, I think, some say a bit nuts so before you know it you will be relaxed & you won’t even notice me or my camera. Feel free to pose or not to pose, my style is relaxed, candid shots, I try to focus on capturing natural moments, expressions and real emotions. We can also talk about & trial out any angles/poses you have in mind on your wedding day.
With your wedding day venue chosen, think about your pre-wedding photoshoot location; maybe you would like it on top of a mountain, in the mountains, a beach, a forest, at home or even at the venue. Most couples choose a location that has romantic meaning to them or reflects their personalities/hobbies. Allow a couple of hours for your photo-shoot, I am not strict on timings as I always work to getting the best shots and when you’re having fun, you know what they say!! I would recommend your photoshoot takes place about 1 – 3 months before your actual wedding day.
A pre-wed session with me is also an opportunity to get dressed up, either go full on runway models or casual; the photoshoot will leave you with a boost to your self-esteem! Hell yeah, a great excuse to dress up & feel like stars!! Why not bring your pets if you wish or any props you wish to include.

After your session I go away & create your private gallery & you can use the photos from your session as a ‘Save the Date’ announcing your upcoming nuptials and/or at your wedding adding them into the décor or a slide show. Should you use them for wall art, bear in mind they are professionally captured photographs worthy of professional printing. Through your gallery you can choose to order professional prints or I can recommend professional outlets to ensure the quality of your images is retained.
