5 Pro Tips for Planning your Wedding

Don't focus on stuff. Focus on how you want your guests to feel!

Here are my FIVE tips to remind you of what truly matters when planning your wedding day:

  1. Create an Inviting Atmosphere

Focus on creating an environment where your guests feel comfortable and relaxed. Think about lighting, seating arrangements, and the vibe you want to evoke. A welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for the entire day!

  2. Personalise the Experience

Include elements that reflect your personality as a couple—whether it’s through custom wedding favors, meaningful music choices, or speeches that share your love story. Personal touches will make your guests feel connected to the celebration.

  3. Prioritise Connection Over Perfection

Weddings don't need to be perfect; they need to be memorable. Make sure to take moments throughout the day to truly connect with your loved ones, whether that’s through a heartfelt toast, get your guests involved with some fun activities or lawn games. It’s the memories you make together that last.

  4. 4. Focus on Comfort

Your guests should feel at ease throughout the day. Consider  cozy seating areas indoors and firepits outside, and have clear directions for key moments. Thoughtful touches like this show your guests you care about their experience.

  5. Capture the Joy

As a wedding photographer, I love to focus on the real moments - the smiles and the laughter, all the candid's - I can't stress this enough—while it's important to have great photos of the details, the most important shots are the ones that capture the emotion of the day.

Your wedding, your way!
